The Pearl Hotel Wedding, Rosemary Beach, 30a | Patrick + Analise
Analise and Patrick had a beautiful wedding day at the Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach. There was rain in the forecast so they had to move their wedding inside, but that definitely didn’t stop it from being an amazing day. We took some photos during cocktail hour and I loved seeing the rain as a backdrop, it felt so ethereal. It’s details like that that really tell the story of the day.
At sunset, we decided to go down to the beach to get some photos. We realized we didn’t have a hotel key to open the gate to get back to the reception and then it started to rain! Thankfully the sweetest people came by and were able to open the gate for us so we could run for it.
The two of them decided to have their wedding at the Pearl because they both love the water and Rosemary Beach is one of their favorite places! They were thinking of eloping but decided to get married with about 50 people at the Pearl Hotel.
First of all, how unique and gorgeous is her dress by @inesdisanto @carriage_house! I’m now convinced that every bride needs a cape on her wedding day. She also changed into a second dress for the reception that was equally as gorgeous! There were so many beautiful details from The Mrs. Box with her new last initial, to the flowers in her hair, to the poppy pin in honor of her grandfather. The poppy from their crest was also a nod to her grandfather, who she calls Poppy. During the ceremony, Poppy sang a song with Analise and it was the sweetest moment to witness. Shortly before the wedding, Patrick and Analise found out they were pregnant and decided to name the baby Poppy, which is so incredibly sweet.
I always love when brides send mood boards to me and that’s exactly what Analise did! I love seeing the inspiration and then seeing everything come to life later. If you haven’t noticed, green is my favorite color and when I saw it all through her mood board I got so excited. The guys all wore green suits and their reception was decorated in green! I also loved the mix-matched bridesmaids’ dresses with the perfect colors to transition from summer to fall.
I walked by their ceremony setup later on in the day and it looked so beautiful I thought “it’d be really cool to take some photos here in the dark with candles.” I set it up and went to go get them. Once I came back with them, the floral team had blown out the candles! Ahh! Luckily, Felicia by Design caught them and asked to light them again and leave them for just a few minutes for us to take some photos. I am so happy it worked out because it was such a sweet moment for Analise and Patrick to have a moment alone together.
Once they received their photos, Analise told me she can’t wait to frame them. Print your photos people! I always feel so touched and humbled that my work gets hung in people’s homes. I am so thankful to have gotten to photograph such a beautiful day! I always love photographing weddings at the Pearl Hotel, so if you want me to photograph yours, shoot me a message!
