I love photographing a family as they connect, love on each other, and explore the world with their littles. The best moments are where the kids are playing in the water, running in circles with each other, building a sand castle together, and just exploring the world around them.

When it comes to family sessions, it's important to go with the flow and let the children lead the session. We will get more authentic moments captured and they will most likely be happier for longer when we are going at their pace. Instead of focusing on the perfect photo, be focused on capturing your kids how they are at this age. They’ll never be this age again and having photos that represent who they are at this age will be cherished more than that perfect photo.

So, if you’re wanting more than just the “all looking at the camera and smiling” photos, let’s make some memories together! Whether it’s in a location that means something to you or incorporating something that you love to do together, let’s make it feel like you!

HEY, I’M KAYLA.

As a mom myself, I know how challenging it is to capture your children just being them. You’re not going look back at photos of your kids' forced smiles and think “aww, that’s them.” The best photos are the ones where they can just be themselves and have fun! I love being silly with kids and letting them take the lead. In my opinion, the crazier the better!

All sessions include a four-week turnaround and my What to Wear Guide.
Packages start at $850.
Film add-on starts at $300. Film only sessions are custom priced.

After you’ve checked out my work and read my reviews, fill out my contact form so I can send you my availability and detailed pricing.

Proposal

After I’ve sent you my guide and we’ve had a chance to communicate, I’ll send you a proposal of my services. This will outline my services, delivery dates, and total cost.

Once paid, you’ll be set up in a Honeybook portal and we’ll start planning and dreaming up how awesome your session’s going to be!

…Kayla provided a very calming atmosphere by playing soft music during the entirety of the shoot. CAN I PRINT MY OWN PHOTOS?
Yes! Although I highly recommend you ordering your prints through me to ensure you get the best quality prints.
DO YOU OFFER MINI-SESSIONS?
I don’t, but my smallest session is up to 30 minutes coverage. It’s the perfect amount of time if you want just a few photos.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET THE PHOTOS BACK?
Session galleries take up to 4 weeks. I deliver them through an online gallery so you can download them straight to your computer or phone.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
I’ll send you a what to wear guide, but basically just wear something that is comfortable and something you’d normally wear. Be yourselves!
WHAT IF THE WEATHER’S BAD ON THE DAY OF OUR SESSION?
Don’t worry. We can reschedule sessions if the weather is really that awful. I’m flexible and I’ll do my best to get you in on another day that works for the both of us.
Do you retouch?
I do very minimal retouches, like impermanent blemishes, marks, and bruises when noticeable. I don’t retouch anything that is a part of your body, such as curves, double chins, moles, etc. If you’re self conscious about something, please let me know. I want you to feel 100% confident and comfortable during your experience with me.
HOW DO WE POSE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
Just be yourselves and have fun! I’ll bring music and we’ll have so much fun hanging out together that you’ll forget we’re taking photos.
