Rosemary Beach Wedding Photographer
Rosemary Beach is a beautiful, eclectic destination spot along Florida’s Scenic Highway 30a! It’s always a dream to be able to photograph in this town. All the buildings are so colorful, but in muted, natural tones. It’s perfect if you’re wanting a colorful city vibe, but don’t want the neon, bright colors of other cities in 30a. The main focus of Rosemary Beach is The Pearl. No, I’m not talking about Pirates of the Caribbean, I’m talking about the boutique hotel that sits right by the ocean. It’s such a gorgeous location for getting ready and weddings. There’s also the Town Hall, the common green areas, and several little alcoves dotted around the town. Here are a few things about Rosemary Beach that make it such a dreamy location for your session or wedding!
As of May 2024, if you’re staying in a cottage rental or you’re an owner, you do not have to pay for your photo permit. If you’re staying at The Pearl or a Rosemary rental outside of the cottage company, you have to pay a $500 fee for your photo permit, even if you’re getting married at The Pearl.
My Top 3 Rosemary Beach Wedding Venues
boardwalks
Tree lined boardwalks run all throughout the town.
You feel like you’re in another part of the world in the elegant and luxurious environment.
There are lots of cute little shops and restaurants spread throughout the city.
This courtyard beside Town Hall is perfect for portraits, as long as there’s not already another wedding going on there.
The Pearl
The Pearl is such a gorgeous hotel inside and out.
It has a timeless, classic white exterior with dark accents to really make it pop.
It’s located right next to a common green area, but the rooftop is a popular choice for ceremonies and receptions.
As a wedding photographer and an artist, it is such a joy to shoot at this gorgeous hotel.
If you don’t want to stay at The Pearl, there are lots of beautiful homes there to stay in or host your event at.
Rosemary rentals
The town is located right on the beach and can only be accessed with a room key card, so that means less people to work around!
So even if you had your ceremony in the town, we could still access the beach for sunset couples portraits.
There are lots of rental houses in and around Rosemary where you can have a backyard, intimate wedding too.
Wedding Photography in Florida's 30A

I was so happy when Alex told me they were up for taking photos in the rain. Luckily it stopped raining minutes before their ceremony started, so we got to take some portraits right afterward in a light drizzle and later in the pouring rain. When the couple is in the middle of portraits and both say “we could do this all day”, that’s when I know I’ve achieved my ultimate goal. Creating an experience and valuing memories.
